Agape Cafe
Macon, Missouri
When we recently finished up our breakfast fundraiser, we found we had several supplies left over that were perishable. Not wanting to waste these, we contacted a team member of the Agape Cafe and donated these items. The Cafe hosts meals on Saturdays for people, as a way of caring for the nutritional means of others, as well as their spiritual needs. They even do some home deliveries to those that can't get out. What a perfect way to help our community, and to help another organization that helps others! This definitely appealed to our team. And we were very glad to be able to give back to our own community, who has supported us in our efforts to help others.

We were able to donate several cans of frozen orange juice, many cans
of biscuits, and 2 gallon bags of cooked sausage patties.
|
We also donated several loaves of texas toast. Great for french toast
or spaghetti dinners. |
