Haiti 2019

We were so excited to be able to plan our return trip to Haiti this year. It had been so long since we were there, and we were missing our friends as well as the country that has captured our hearts. We have also been aware of the turmoil that has been happening since we were last there in 2015. And this one would also be different, as it was not a medical mission nor was it associated with a Bible School event. This trip would be more a restructuring event. To see what is happening now, and to see where we might be able to work more with our friends to provide assistance to them in meeting their goals.Doing help without harm. Following the lead of the people who live in this amazing country. To see where we can encourage people to get involved, in an area that truly speaks to their hearts.
This year, we have partnered with Bread To The Nations, an amazing organization that worked hard to make life better in Haiti. They work with the leaders of the church to help provide not only education, but safe water and safe housing. We have traveled to Haiti with Tammy from Bread To The Nations to see what changes have happened, and to see how we can work with the leaders in Haiti to make a difference. This year was a restructuring trip for us, to be able to step away to actually see the area and what is going on,
