Clothing Donation
Sometimes, things just work out like you didn't plan them. During our coat drive, we collected a lot of coats, but also some boys clothes, summer and fall, shorts and shirts. We kept them, because you never know what will happen and when you might need them. This is exactly what happened.
We heard of a young mother, with a very rapidly growing young boy. He had grown out of all of his fall/winter clothes, and she just didn't have the money to buy him any at this time. Anyone who has had a child knows just how very fast they can grow at times, and sometimes it is just hard to keep up.
But thanks to the clothes that were donated during the previous year, we were able to supply her with the clothes in the pictures, which will help her to get through as least for a little while. These clothes were in very good shape, as boys do grow so fast at this age. She also helped another by passing down her child's clothes to another family, and so the cycle of caring and sharing continues.
