We recently held a drawing for this beautiful lap quilt, which features the pink ribbon in the middle of tan and tan and white check squares. This lap quilt was done in the rag style, where on one side, the seams are on the outside, and the material is clipped up to the sewing line. When washed, this side will "rag" out and be very pretty. This lap quilt also features one side that is very smooth. This lap quilt, made from flannel material, has a layer of batting between each side, which provides for additional warmth when used. Easily washed and dried, this lap quilt is perfect for taking to ball games, in the car to cover the little ones when they fall asleep, as a blanket for the toddler, and for someone who sits frequently to cover their legs and protect them from drafts.
This lap quilt was lovingly made by one of our team members, and she did a wonderful job.
Drawing for this lap quilt was held June 12. And the winner was...Tina Deener! Tina said that she was going to give this blanket to her aunt, who is battling recurring breast cancer. We hope that she finds comfort from this blanket, and all that is being done to fight this dreaded disease.
