Other Ways To Fundraise

We know that it is hard to let go of money. Everyone works so very hard to earn their wages, and everyone has obligations that must meet. We know that without the help of others, there is no way we can finance our trips, and that means a lot of people who won't receive help. So we know that we must come up with unusual ways to earn money. So we have tried very hard to offer items that are very unusual, and still things that people would enjoy spending their money on. So this page is dedicated to those slightly different ways we have thought of to raise much needed funds, and thereby increase our ability to help others.

Team member Tiffany and her sister Kim Miles came up with the idea of
making a very sweet treat to sell, apple butter. This is from their first batch.
We sold pints and half-pints.  And had some very good response!

The success was so good with the first bath, Tiffany and Kim made a second
batch of apple butter. This is so very good on toast and warm biscuits.
We appreciate Kim taking the time to help us out on this project.
Missy Stoner, a friend of Kim Miles, not only made some pear butter
for us to sell, but also made some additional butter and donated
it to our team to sell. We thank it her so very much!

Team member Sharon tried a new recipe and made some half-pints of
pear honey. This recipe was a first for her, and tasted so very good.
