2020 Community Page!

Even with everything that is going on, we still work hard to try to give back to our community.  The need is still so very great in our communities, that there has to be a way that we can help, even in a small fashion.

These were the projects that we accomplished this year. And we hope to build on them for the next!

We have been trying to help out with the schools. But this year, things
were so much different. They were not holding back to school fairs,
as they have in the past. So for Macon, we adopted a child through the
children's division foster program, and purchased all the supplies
that this one child neededed. Big or small, the important part is to help.

We talked as a team, and knew that we could not forget the students
at the Seneca school district, where we have participated in the back
to school fairs in the past. This year, we took a designated amount and purchased supplies, and donated these to those helping the kids.

The Town And Country County Fair is a wonderful place for kids to
showcase the work they do with their livestock. We were proud to
be able to sponsor the Grand Champion Agronomy Division. Congrats
to the winner and all the young people who work so hard at these fairs.

The Macon PTO hosted a fundraiser by bringing a performance by the
Harlem Wizards. This event was well attended and everyone had
a great time. Money went to help the school, and all they do to be there
for the kids.  (This event was pre-covid.)

We donated an afghan, as a fundraiser to help assist with expenses for
the family of a sailor who is battling leukemia. The money to be used
for expenses with travel and food.

We became aware of a family that was in need of mattresses so the kids
would have a place to sleep. So we purchased 2 mattresses to go with
the bunk beds that were purchased by a team member.
