Most of the our team members enjoy crafting items. Whether knitting, crocheting, sewing, working in plastic canvas, or working with other materials, we enjoy the completion of a project. And our trips are our projects as well. Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon is known for its annual craft shows. People come from all over to set up tables and to sell their wares. So we thought, why not combine our love with creating with one of the most famous craft shows in the area. So we did! We set up a table, spread out our items, set up our raffle items, and we settled in and waited for the customers to arrive.
We are sorry to say that the turn-out for this event was not so great. Overall, the number of people who went through was much decreased from previous years. And we sold very few items. But we did sell a little, and we sold some raffle tickets. And we feel we are still doing what God wants us to do, so we will push forward. But please spend a few minutes and see what we had to offer that day. And some of it is still for sale, if you are interested. And as always, thanks for your support.
We had scarves, washcloths, afghans, tissue boxes, and corn bags
for sale. |

Another view of the table. Yes, that is a purse to the left, as well as a small diaper bag, ready for those short trips to town, or to the game.

We had our raffle tickets available, as well as some drinking cups decorated for Macon Tiger fans. Who doesn't want a tiger on the front? |
Our benefit flyer, posted on Facebook, showing some of the items we were going to have at the craft show. You can still purchase some of these items. If interested, just send us a message through the "contact us" page. |
At every event, we try to show people what we are doing, where the money goes. This poster reflects from our medical mission trip in 2013, and some of the people we met on that trip.
