Bake Sale-March

One thing that everyone enjoys is a bake sale. The chance to try some home-baked items, and you don't have to take home the entire package! So our team decided to host another bake sale. We approached C&R Market, and they agreed to allow us to use their corner to set up our tables.

One day we will host a bake sale when the temperature is above 60 degrees! But today was not the day. The morning broke sunny, but had some wind and the temperatures were only in the 20's. Gloves and coats were required! The store provided somewhat of a wind break, and as the sun rose, the sun did feel good and we kept shuffling the chairs to be in the sunshine. The tables were lined with many different types of breads and desserts. There were some very unique cookies available, including root beer float cookies, key lime cookies, english toffee cookies, and blue raspberry cookies. We had the typical peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodles, and chocolate chips. We had confetti cakes, diet 7-Up cakes, pecan pies, caramel cheesecake, monkey bread, german chocolate cake, strawberry-banana weight watchers pie, and low fat brownies. And this was just a small part of what loaded our tables.

Our raffle prizes were also set up, for people to view. And our signs were displayed, including our newest one, to let people know who we
were. We want to thank those that donated items, those that bought items, those that bought raffle tickets, and those that both donated and bought items. Once again, you made our bake sale a success. We could never do this without each and every one of you!

Our raffle table set up. We did sell some raffle tickets, and we are grateful for that.

Hayden and Josh enjoy each others electronic devices. We are, foremost, parents who adore our children. And in turn, we pray that our desire to help others will be passed onto our children, so that what we have started will be continued by the next generations.

Cupcake cones, pies, cakes, cupcakes. All such great tasting items. We thank everyone who purchased, and hope that you enjoy, not only these treats, but knowing how important you are to our trips.
