Quilt Raffle
Sometimes, help can come from a different direction than you ever imagined. And from people you have never personally met. This is exactly what happened to us, when we are surprised, and honored to be given a beautiful quilt, to be used as a raffle item, with the proceeds going to help fund our trip.
Jan Corbett, Dr. Corbett to us who work with her, has a very talented sister, Connie Remetch. And Connie offered us this beautiful quilt, and of course we just couldn't say no! And this has been a very successful fundraiser for our team.
This beautiful quilt is full size, and is also double-sided, which means it is just as pretty on the back side as it is on the front.
This is called a "Checkerboard Twist" and the pattern credit goes to Liz Porter.
The quilt itself was made by Connie Remetch, and was quilted by Judy Richards.
