 Community Service 2021

Community service remains a prime endeavor to our team. Helping others is obviously what we should always strive to do. Do unto others are just not words to be spoken, but words to live by. So here are some of the activities that we worked on this year. Now, what can YOU do to help others in your community, state, or world?

Macon Back To School: This year we once again we chose to select several foster children to sponsor in back to school. This brings us great joy, as so many of these children have already had a bad life, and receiving something special, picked out just for them, is one way to remind them that they are loved.

Seneca Back To School: One tradition that we have been so pleased to help with is the back to school fair at Seneca. This year is not any different. Lots of kids came out and had a great time. And a lot of different school supplies were handed out to the families that attended. We hope that the school year will be great for all!

Over the past few years, we have been honored to be able to help with this very worthy organization. To read more about the organization and the work that they do, please  EMS Funeral Response Team.
This year, we were honored to present to our regional response team this Flag afghan, representing all aspects of first responders. The red represents fire, the blue represents police, the white represents emergency medical services (EMT, EMT-P, first responders) and the cream represents our dispatchers. Without each section, first responders would not be able help save so many lives each year. We hope that this afghan will mean so very much to the person who won it in the auction. And when they hold it, they will remember the sacrifices that are made on a daily basis to help protect our communities.
