All About Us!
Here is where you will meet the people which make up Hands 4 Hope. The ones who are devoted to making this team a success, and helping in areas where we can try to make a difference. But we will be highlighting not only the team members who make the trips, but those who help make our team and our efforts a success. So come see who we are, put a face to a name, and if you would like, drop one or all of us an email. We would appreciate hearing from you.

Lilias
Hi. I am Lilias
and I am from small town Oklahoma. I am married to one of my biggest
supporters and my best friend, Josh. God has blessed us with two
amazing children, Chloe 10 and Payne 8. I went to Haiti for the
first time in May 2013. God had been dealing with me for several
years before that about going on a mission trip. At first it was a
gentle tug on my heart to go on a mission trip. I know that our
mission field is all around us but God was leading me to either
Brazil or Haiti. That gentle tug changed into a burning NEED to go.
When God says go, you say yes! What an experience! I could talk for
days about my experience there! The most amazing thing I saw and
learned about the people of Haiti was, they still have HOPE! I was
blessed by them in such a way while worshiping with them on Sunday
morning there! To look around and see all the poverty and
devastation there was heartbreaking to say the least. But in the
midst of all of that, you can feel God’s presence all around while
they worship and praise Him!! I am looking forward to my next trip
there. I can’t wait to see old friends and make new
ones! Not a day has gone by since I have returned that I have not
thought about the people of Haiti. I pray that God will move in a
mighty way!

Sharon
Good morning all! I have never been one to follow the crowds. I always seemed to be willing to march to the beat of my own drummer, and have always been very comfortable being by myself. So to say that doing mission trips was a part of my "bucket list" would be so very far off the mark it would be funny. But, it seems, God had a much different plan for me and my life. You can read how I got involved in the mission field on our 2012 page, as the person who went to Haiti "just because" was me. And it was definitely life changing. But how did I get to this point. Well, that is another story. I was raised in the 60's, when times were hard for kids who were different. My mother died early, and I was raised by my grandparents, who both died when I was a teen. So life has always been a struggle. And in all the hard times, I found myself turning away from God. Now, He didn't leave me, I left Him. But even through it all, He blessed me with 2 amazing children, Floyd and Dianna, and now some amazing grandchildren. He lead me into the field of nursing, which enabled me to support myself and my children, and which directed me into the path that I am now following. The trip in 2013, which I was afraid would diminish after the one in 2012, only bolstered my belief that this is what I was called to do. And the trip in 2012, well it reintroduced me to my Heavenly Father, who never left me during the hard times at all.
I am blessed to be joined by family and friends who are so dear to me. And I know that, with God's help, we will make a difference. We can't save the world, but we hope to make the world a little better for some. And that is what God wants us all to do.

Tiffany
Hello my name is Tiffany and I
am from a small town in Missouri. I am married to an amazing supporter
and have three beautiful children. My family is also very supportive
of my efforts with this mission group. I have always been a person to put
others before myself. I became a nurse to help people first of all. I
enjoy helping others daily as a nurse, but am unable to describe how it
felt when I went to Haiti in 2014 for the 1st time. We treated over
900 people in only four short days. Some of those would have died
without our help. We weren't able to save them all but we did make a
huge difference. I can't wait to go back
again, to again try to make a difference. We see religion everywhere when we are there. And we
can see in their faces how much our help means to them.
Not everyone
is meant to go and help others, but for every person who has donated,
baked, and supported our cause in anyway, thank you. You do make a
difference.

Dianna
Hello my name is Dianna and I am from a small town in Missouri.
As
I grew up, I was always the one that was not much for speaking out on
how I felt or what I believed, because I was always afraid of rejection. As I got older, I became more outgoing with my thoughts, and some times maybe a little too much, LOL.
My mom is the founder of this group. I listened to her talk about it and all the hopes they had of making a
difference in peoples lives, and I felt a tug on my heart to do all I
could to help in anyway I could.
God has blessed me with a wonderful
and supportive husband. He has also blessed us with a funny, full of
life little boy who, as much as me, loves to help with these ladies in
their mission.
Even though I have never been to Haiti, and yes do
hope to go some day, I still feel a very strong passion for the mission
of this group to help others.
